About this event
Celebrate the season at the home of a signer of the Declaration of Independence! Join us for Christmas at Meadow Garden to hear live music, stroll through the period rooms, explore the historic cellar, and experience the historic home by candlelight. On Opening Day in 1901, the ladies who saved Meadow Garden from destruction hosted a First Ladies Tea Party. For Christmas at Meadow Garden, as we celebrate our 125th anniversary, we will honor these leading ladies from the last 250 years of American History. For more than 60 years, First Ladies have championed specific projects. We will honor their causes with special activities. Join us for the season and give back by bringing a book to donate to the Harris Literacy Center. Candlelight Tours will be December 4th from 5:00 ~ 8:00 p.m. The historic house will be decorated and open for regular tours Monday ~ Friday through December.
